This woman saw my newborn baby (not even 24 hours old) in the hospital. She cane in and said my daughter had a heart murmur. She offered no explanation, she just said she was sending her for an echocardiogram to check her heart. My daughter went for the echocardiogram, and when the cardiologist came to read us the results, he said that any baby that is under 48 hours old is going to have this type of heart murmur because the hole in a baby’s heart doesn’t close until then.
