Fierce but flat – Too thin. I thought, add extra cheese and add some extras... better, but then way too expensive. Not impressed.
From a reformed pizza hater – It takes a lot to impress this pizza-hater, but Pagliacci does. They have some of the most interesting toppings, such as pear-gorgonzola. The crowd is mostly adult with few children, which is perfect for me. Try the house salad and breadsticks too!
Best in Seattle – Ah, yes! A Pagliacci Pizza and a Pagliacci salad. Add a glass of wine and you have a lovely evening.
You dont know pizza till you try this – Wow... amazing pizza. You never know the true taste of pizza till you have Pagliaccia's pizza.
The Best Seasonal pie is... – the Pizza Bianca. Creamy garlic sauce is covered with mozzarella, provolone and grated Locatelli romano cheese. Do yourself a favor and get it with extra pepperoni and you will be in heaven. BTW, the cheese(s) on pizzas are usually the least interesting ingredient for me. Oh yes, it's usually available in mid-Spring, around May.
Average – The pizza is just average. Nothing that really sets it apart from others. Weak crust. The salad are better than average.
greazy – Pagliacci has some unique topping combinations with decent ingredients, but for a good pepperoni pizza you've come to the wrong place. Dripping with grease on a thin soggy crust. Unfortunately, I've repeated the experience enough times to know it wasn't an isolated incident. Expensive too.
Better Than Some – Pagliacci Pizza is better than a lot of pizza out there. Better than Pizza Hut, even better than Zeeks <-- Pagliacci's red sauce is sweeter. Overall the service is good even when they are busy. The stores are clean, and although some may say it's a bit expensive once in a while it's not bad. Overall I would say it's good experience. Yes, I've had better pizza once or twice but it's still good. Word of advice, full pies are better most of the time, the slice bar can be a little old, but still not bad.
Where's the slices? – I was disappointed during my first (and, so far, only) visit to the Bellevue Pagliacci to find that they do NOT serve individual slices--something I considered to be a mainstay in their business. Yes, if I wanted to gorge myself during lunch and eat an entire pizza, then this Pagliacci would be my first choice. That's not likely to happen in the near future. Also, the space is cramped and feels oddly uncomfortable. I was eager to leave.
Pagliacci Pizza has a 4.4 star rating with 169 reviews.
