I had my first appointment recently and I was quite nervous but the ladies at the desk were very helpful and answered my questions which put my mind at ease. The Physician assistant really knew what she was talking about and I was really happy she was apart of the appointment. I was able to to be seen, have my questions answered and they made an uncomfortable problem an enjoyable experience. My only complaint was the voicemail system for scheduling appointments.
I have been a patient of Dr. Leite for a few years now and he has always been so attentive and caring when it comes to my health. The staff is always so helpful in explaining the procedures and the prep. If you are looking for a GI doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Leite or anyone at his office.
Before you submit to a colonoscopy at PA Gi make sure the anesthesiologist is participating with your insurance or you will be billed a huge amount. Read what you are signing. I have Blue Cross and Blue Shield and they refused due to the anesthesiologist not being participating. Never have had this problem before. They do not do the billing at this practice, some provider I believe in Philly does their billing. They didn't even submit my claim to Medicare first which should have been done. I am a patient of PAGI & Dr. Peters for 20 + years of excellent service by Dr. Peters. However, their billing department is made up Mafia rejects and PSYOPS personnel. Even when a bill is in formal written dispute (paid contractually by insurance), PAGI will use tactics of personal loud embarrassment in front of patients / staff in their office; threats of collection, small claims and negative credit reports. I was new to the area and was looking for a good Gastro Dr. My neighbor recommended PAGI. I made an appointment.for a colonoscopy. The Dr. was both friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend PAGI to anyone looking for a great GI Doctor.
