I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Yasmin Musafa for developmental or autism assessments. If i could give 0 stars I would. After our initial 45-minute consultation, Dr. Musafa diagnosed my 3-year-old son with Level 3 Autism, which was extremely distressing. I visited Dr. Yassmin Musthaffa for a pediatric consultation regarding my child's lazy eye and some behavioral concerns that run in our family. I paid over $500 expecting a thorough assessment. Unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed. There was no physical exam or in-depth testing — instead, we were given generic checklists I could have found online. Had Dr Bucan and Dr Gunn visit us during my stay in mater mothers private. None of them pick up that my son has tongue tie and lip tie issue which caused continuing painful latching and fatigue baby due to restricted sucking. We find out later by a midwife point it out and then confirmed by a lactation consultant. Costed us $500 more to sort it out while I've heard a lot baby get assess right after birth and can cut it right away if parents agreed. Dr Jha was so kind and informative at the birth of our daughter and at our follow up appointment. I didn’t feel rushed with any questions and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a great paediatrician.
