Dr. Root treated my mother for many years for her various urologic conditions. He was great with her! She always looked forward to her visits. Dr. Root was very friendly and spoke "with" her not "to" her. As a family, we were very confident in having Dr. Root as her physician.
Dr Mastandrea and his staff have been nothing short of fantastic. My cancer is gone and has been gone for over 10 years. Very friendly, professional and an expert in his field.
Dr. Baker worked hard to diagnose my problem. He solved it and I am still doing well after several years.
I hear great things about this doctor but I was unable to make an appointment due to his staff. I came here to see if it was an isolated incident and it appear everyone has had a bad experience with them. I am giving up on trying to get an appointment.
It is very difficult to rate a practice such as this and professionally offer comments without sounding unprofessional and slightly insane. Let's start with trying to make an appointment after Dr. Baker has treated you in the hospital. You call and are on hold for 20-30 minutes and then get disconnected. Because you are so angry you wait until the next day to try again and after 40 minutes on hold you have your appointment. The office needs modernization, but I go to doctors for diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Acosta is knowledgeable, professional, and a really good communicator. He may seem to some like "old school," but he has a broad and thorough of knowledge of urology and the skill to communicate it to patients.
Be prepared to wait for Long periods of time. They overbook and then call and reschedule. They rarely return calls.
My elderly father had an appointment with Dr. Acosta. The wait time for my father to get into a patient room was unacceptable. Then, Dr. Acosta left my father in the patient room to attend to another patient without explanation. Now, my mother and I have left messages and attempted to contact anyone in the office for well over a week with no response. The service provided at this office is dismal.
I am 71 years old and my first time visit urologist.after all those Scary suggestions by some family physician's He explain it Correctly and honestly my situation. Fantastic Dr . Made me feel much better. The office stuff and the nurses are super friendly
