Almost impaled by large chunk of ice today that fell from their gutter that is leaking.
For $1200-$1400 a month rents in a 30 unit building (more than $36,000.00 in rental income a month) they should have someone showeling and salting the sidewalk. It's pure ice! There is a senior residence at the end of the block and a bus stop in front of the building. Slumlords. And shame on you tenants enabling these slumlords. If nobody would rent from them they would be forced to do what the law requires of them.
I rented with them for five years, I have no complaints really, but I'd say if a Registered SO is living in the building a heads up would good if that's not violating any privacy laws.

They don't turn on the heat on time. September 15th is when heat is supposed to be turned on by law & we are in October & still no heat. And when they do have the heat on they only turn it on twice in the day.. once in the morning & once in the evening I have a friend who is a senior living in one of their buildings & when I visit her apartment is always cold. The heat should be ran regularly. The temperature in her apt one winter was below 40 degrees. I have bought her a space heater until she can move.
