I’ve been seeing by obgyn from this office, whom I love, for the past 22 years. They have an appointment request form on their website, which I’ve submitted twice this week. I thought perhaps I filled out the first one incorrectly, so submitted another the next day. (You do not receive an acknowledgement email.) They took advantage financially and charged several hundred dollars upfront for a procedure without trying insurance. Ended up not needing the procedure and claimed what they charged me was still correct since I went to the office and was examined. Pretty sure they also billed insurance too for the extra cash. Ended up going to a different place for the same thing a year later and of course, insurance accepted it and it was billed correctly. Pacific has awful billing tactics and practices. UPDATE! Changing my review from 5 stars to 1 star. I have been going to this practice since 2020 and really enjoy seeing Dr. Moy. Although each of my annual exams have consisted of the same conversational topics — this year, I am echoing the other one star reviews about bogus charges for a office visit on top of my professional visit for the exam. They claim that I spoke about topics that were not part of the exam, with no disclosure about the additional cost. (Fertility. PMS. cancer history.) These topics were raised by the... read more
