My fiance and I just used a Groupon for a 90-minute day cruise (with champagne). We had a great trip in a nice 33 foot sailboat. Captain Jamie was great! He took us around Long Beach harbor and was pretty knowledgeable about the area and the sites around the bay. There was nothing scripted or rehearsed; he was just a very chill guy who was easy to talk to if we had questions.
