Dr. Yap is the absolute best dentist ever. Always explains all options for treatment. The entire office works from a best practices approach witch is evident when you first enter.
Dr. Yap is an outstanding dentist.I had a tooth abscess on 22nd July 2025. I called my regular dentist in Squamish and told the earliest he could see me would be the 12thAugust!!!!!( I was told he doesnt work Fridays!!!) Despite being on vacation Dr. Yap opened his office and came in to deal with my dental abscess. I was incredulous and very thankful. Port Alberni is lucky to have such a caring health care professional!!! He is a true gentleman!!! It was a privilege to meet such a caring doctor. I will never forget this mans... read more
Dr Yap was amazing, my wife was terrified and yet he made her laugh very professional, knowledgable, and great bedside manner. Would definately reccomend him.
