Pacific Optical; the staff and Alison have been an amazing caring support for my eye health and all around genuine care. I was in the office once to pick up contact lenses and happened to over hear a conversation with a woman who was traveling and had just purchased new glasses and hadn't had time before her travel to have them adjusted- I was amazed that the good Dr. had offered to have this woman's glasses adjusted right away and for no cost. Great place – I've been going to Dr Fujisaki for nearly 10 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. It's rare for a business, especially one where you only go every couple of years to remember you by name. Beverly and Judy are wonderful and always get my needs taken care of. I've never had issues with the pricing as others have written, they've always shown me and made sure I understood what I was being charged for. Just ask!
Great Service – My husband and I have been coming to see Alison for a number of years. We both appreciate the service she and her staff offer. She takes the time to answer questions and is never in a hurry to finish. I have recommended her to many friends and family.
The BEST Eye Doctor in Town – I've been seeing Dr. Alison Fujisaki at Pacific Optical for over 10 years. She's the best eye doctor in town! Dr. Fujisaki was one of many preferred providers available to me through my insurance program and I've recommended her many times to colleagues, family and friends over the years. Loupsided glasses – Came here for glasses. Had an exam and picked out frames and lenses. When I picked up the glasses, the receptionist adjusted the frames and they were loupsided on my face. She said they were fine. I used them for a week and went back to have them fixed. Again the receptionist said my ears were loupsided. Never went back and never wore the glasses. Just bought some readers at Freddy's.
The worst eye experience ever – I had just moved to the area and only chose Pacific Optical because of how quick they could get me in. When I was there I saw why her books are so open! The optometrist was VERY rude to both myself and my daughter. To top it all off, they billed my insurance $100 a box for two boxes of contacts that cost $30 eleswhere. Then they only gave me ONE BOX of lenses!! I am in the process of filing a complaint about them. Don't waste your time or money going there !!!!!
Be extra cautious about their prices – This place offers pretty standard service - not bad, not outstanding either. However, the prices are very tricky. 1. Glass frames cost about twice as the same ones in Costco! 2. Lens: they do not show you the price chart - they just come up with numbers. What makes me angry is that the prices differ a lot when I compare with my colleagues and friends who have the same insurance plan and choice of lens. 3. Caring doctor, very nice staff – I like Dr. Alison Fujisaki, who really took the time to learn about my medical history, and to answer my numerous questions about my eyes. I like the staff as well. Judy is patient and helpful. I am also pleased with the selection of eyeglasses, not huge, but they have what I need and like.
Convenient and Friendly – At this office you never wait for your appointment. Dr. Alison Fujisaki is thorough and efficient with her eye exams. She is kind, caring and makes me feel at ease in her care. Try this office out.
