The shuttle workers at the pier are some of the nicest people I have met. 3 boats came in at the same time but they kept the line moving very quickly, we waited maybe 10 minutes in a long line we thought wouldn’t get us back. It’s so refreshing to be in a port that isn’t owned/operated by the cruise ship companies, we didn’t mind paying the $15 round trip ticket price as we knew ncl had no monopolies with the stores. They are very professional and treated everyone with respect.
Horrible shuttle. We were on an Alaskan cruise that stopped in Victoria, and to preface this, we are Canadian and live in the area. Took this shuttle from the cruise ship terminal and was dropped off at the Empress hotel. There were tons of people in the line for the shuttle and they were all shocked at the price. $15 round trip for a 5 minute ride is insane, even for Victoria.
