Our experience with Dr. John Paul Snapp was extremely frustrating and disappointing. There was a clear miscommunication between him and the front desk—our appointment was supposed to be for helmet pickup, but when we arrived, he seemed surprised to see us and asked if we forgot to bring the helmet, when in fact, we were there to receive it. I recently had the pleasure of working with Dr. Menkin and her team at Pacific Medical to address my son's flat head condition. From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, setting a positive tone for our entire experience. Very unprofessional front office. First visit I heard all about how all of the staff is taking vacation at the same time. Second visit I heard them complaining about a patient again being 18 minutes late and there are appointments for a reason. I was 10 minutes late to my appointment due to traffic and had called ahead but clearly it was an issue as I was left at the front desk and ignored until I asked and was told oh they already know you're here. My son had torticollis as a newborn that caused moderate positional plagiocephaly. We went there for an initial evaluation and were told his condition was treatable but not necessary. We decided to error on the side of caution and follow through with cranial helmet therapy. Over the course of 3-4 months we were seen by a woman who measured my son's head with a 3D scanner every 4 weeks or so.
