I went in to see a new primary care doctor and I had a concern about reoccurring UTIs that I’ve been dealing with for more than five years. I wanted to get answers. She played the guessing game and just told me that she wouldn’t do anything about it and that everyone would flag it a UTI if she tested me and dismissed me. This will be a long review, but can sum up the message as YOU are responsible for finding doctors who will listen, explain, and "work the system" with you for your health. Pac Med has some gems! My love-hate relationship with Pac Med goes back to 1961, and a tonsilectomy/adenoidectomy at the big brick hospital on Beacon Hill. It was a frightening stay for a kid who hated needles, made worse because I had a chronic ear infection they had trouble clearing. Had a bad experience with a doctor that has been called out for misdiagnosis and bad practice. But switched to another doctor and they've been very attentive and helpful with my health and any concerns. Very happy with the staff in general as well.
Deceived by the staff that PacMed was in contract with my insurance (Cigna). Did not tell me before hand that the provider I was seeing was out of network. Stuck with large medical bill. Wish there was a way to put 0 stars. Would not recommend this place to anyone
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my doctors and their staff!!! I lucked out on that! The front office staff are very nice. The building sometimes has a lack of lab and X-ray technicians, which causes closure of the lab and X-ray departments for a day or more. I recommend calling first before one goes to the lab for lab work or X-rays to see if someone is available. Also, the pharmacy in the building is gone now.
