Their new payment policy is a joke. Not even accepting HSA or FSA cards for physician services is wild. Effective 10/20/2025, Pacific Internal Medicine Associates will have a new payment policy: A 3% processing fee will be applied to all credit card transactions. Debit cards, HSA cards, and FSA cards will not be accepted. We gladly accept cash or checks as payment methods without any processing fee. Co-payments are required at the time of visit. This place to me is a scam for money. I called in to make an appointment and asked the specifically to check with my insurance to make sure the appointment was covered ( I bought a no-copay insurance). They confirmed everything is ok. There is a big sign at the reception say " co-pay needs to be settled before appointment", so it makes me more assured.
