I was not pleased with Pacific Engine and Machine. I purchased a 22RE long block for my Toyota and have had nothing but a headache. My rear main seal blew at 20,000 miles and has been burning 2 quarts of oil inbetween oil changes. I spoke to the owner and he covered the cost of my one seal but told me the compression test was good. And blamed it on the rear main seal, here I am 35,000 miles in and still burning 2 quarts of oil inbetween oil changes. Brought handful of work into this shop. Every time has worked better then originally manufactured. Everybody that I've dealt with was helpful and nice.

Avoid... there place is a dirt hole. there equipment is from the stoneage.they joined the bbb to get there credit rating up from an F to an A witch starts as an A till you get new complaints. Iam out $500 bucks they denied they were responseable for the damage to my parts, even thou they were the only ones to have them

Best place to take your engine. they do fast and quality work. they will make your engine look better then brand new. Paul is a great guy and will try to help you out in any way he can. he understands any situation and will build you the best motor for your money.

Sad to say I also had a very bad experience with Pacific Engine. The rebuilt engine failed in just 2000 miles. They refused to work with me to get the problem fixed. All they offered was excuses and to shift blame to others. Their Better Business Bureau reliability rating is a “D” on an A-to-F scale. Yes, that is a “D” just like a bad grade in school, nothing to write home about. Not sure what happened to that other guy. And did he need to write 2. Anyway, I have had 2 marine engines done by Pac Engine and each time they were perfect. Have a motor there now for my Dodge, can't wait to get it. I will use them every time I engine machine work done.

I just came to this site because I lost the phone number glad to find it so fast. Wanted to send a quick review out and say I love these guys. I have had two motors done by them and one of them I had them install as well. I have 30000K at least on each one of them and have had no troubles. I can't thank them enough. They have no problem with customers coming into the machine shop and watching them work so I have seen how precise the process is. I will never use any one else. Thanks again.

we have brought both our chevelle engines here and they have sone a great job on them. it is a long drive from kent to get there but to us it is worth it for the work they do. we will return.
