I called PFC medical last Tue to have a Metformin script filled because Safeway showed the script had expired. Office indicated they would let the team know and would get on it right away. I called back on Thursday to confirm if script authorization was faxed in to Safeway. It hadn't, I ran out of tabs on Wed. Safeway gave me enough until Sat. I am not sure why others had issues with staff answering phones. Always am able to talk to front desk on phone and set and appointment. If it is urgent (not life threatening) due to being sick or an ear infection; they are always able to squeeze me in. My Doc is Tiffany Mark.....only issue I ever had in the past is my doctor leaving....but am happy and satisfied with the level of care I receive. I love my doctor, paul, I love his previous nurse, who is still in the same office but with a different Dr. That dr, tho I dont remember her name, told me I was 'comforting' my child 'incorrectly' while she very unprofessionally handled my son's surgical wound. Because my son holds blankets to his face to self sooth, i put a blanket up to him and she took it from us, and told me I was "going to suffocate him" while he was screaming and reaching for me. EDIT: So here I am again in 2025 needing to speak to someone. On hold.... hold.... hold.... Employ some staff! Stop having the ladies who staff the front desk work double duty having to field calls. Either patients in the clinic feel unimportant because they are on the phone, or patients on the phone feel ignored because they are checking in patients. As usual will drive down.
