We switched to Dr. Elite Mekel at Pacific Coast Pediatric Dentistry when my daughter Nova was about 2, after meeting her at her booth at the Hermosa Beach Fiesta, and I’m so grateful we did. Dr. Mekel has thought of everything to make toddlers feel as comfortable as they can at the dentist. My 4 year old is still nervous to be in the chair but she’s so patient and works quickly so that when he is cooperating, he gets his cleaning done as fast as possible. Love all the kid-centric things like the toy waiting area, the personalized toothbrush bag, and prizes at the end for doing a great job. We can’t imagine going anywhere else!
Ive been bringing my sons to Dr. Mekel for almost 3 years! So excited she has her own practice now! The office is beautiful and the staff is top notch. My kids didn’t want to leave after their appointment. I also feel like Dr. Mekel is very well rounded. She doesn’t push unnecessary things and understands the practical and holistic side of dentistry!
My little one loves coming here! Everyone is very attentive, nice, and genuinely caring. Once you walk in, they make you feel like a family. They take their time to make sure your child feels comfortable, they speak in a tone of the voice that makes babies open up, talk, and laugh (I love that extra level of attentiveness!).
