Needs updating but good location. I have stayed at this property on 2 occassions. The rooms are large for Waikiki standards. The elevators are small and slow...you wait frequently. They do not have elevator security, so anyone can get to your floor....and it is pretty worn...needs updating badly. The lobby is large, drop off area is great, off street. The Oceanarium Restaurant is very nice, we had a birthday dinner there and the scuba diver will come down with a sign with birthday wishes, very unique.
If you enjoy dining with a tropical marine view I recommend the Oceanarium Restaurant located at Pacific Beach Hotel in Waikiki. I really enjoyed the great atmosphere and the dinner buffet was delicious. The servers were very attentive.Great dining experience for the whole family.
The Pacific Beach Hotel is #1 in my book! I have stayed at this hotel with my husband and son three times out of five while in Oahu. The rooms were very clean, the Oceanarium breakfast buffet was outstanding, great food, and then you can view all diffrent types of fish in the 280,000 gallon "aquarium" that is three stories tall! Each part of it, is in the three diffrent restaurants at this hotel. There is a swimming pool, jacuzzi, laundry facilities, 24hr fitness, spa.......transportation is right there, or nearby. Great Aquarium This place has a great oceanarium when you walk in. Its huge and a beautiful sight. The Oceanarium is very well known in Waikiki. The spa here is so relaxing. I would go everyday. I also enjoy the fitness center because its open 24 hours a day. The restaurant food is so delicious. I love the desserts the most though. The price is really good as well.
