I have great experiences every time I’ve had to bring a pet here. My pets have received great care here and I have no hesitation about coming back. For being an ER, I feel that their prices are reasonable.

I went to this veterinary specialist group when I needed a heart specialist for my aunt there were no spots available anywhere with cardiologist for animals. At the time they have one here and I attended and they took care my very well. They explained their whole process they also take Trupanion payments at the front desk. My dog! was not traumatized at all she was covered with that jelly stuff and wanting to get out of there but did not seem disturbed by the whole process at all. I can't recommend anywhere else for a pet emergency, they handled it. My main complaints are that I was put off by the fact my kitten had soiled their carrier (out of my hands for 7 hours, I guess without a litter box?), and how some of the other pet parents in the lobby were being talked to. One was told their dog was in critical condition, and that they needed to make a deposit right away before treatment, but the person delivering the news had no idea what the problem actually was, and caused a lot of unnecessary worry fo... read more

As soon as my regular vet told us our boy had cancer and our options were palliative care or surgery, and that she wouldn't be able to do it due to the complexity of it and said we should go to Pacific, my gut told me bad idea. This place has gone downhill with the new ownership. Emergency care nightmares aside, it feels like all they care about is the money. Who asks for 75% upfront?!? I can see maybe 50, but 75?!?
