I moved in May 2021. This builder is not the greatest at communication after moving in. First time home buyer. I had my property built. Fast forward until a few weeks ago, with all the rain Austin has been getting my backdoor was taking in water. The interior trim and outside trim were starting to get mushy on the bottom. The door stopped closing properly and would have a big enough gap to still see light coming through. My first thought was maybe my house was settling, shifting, but the extended warranty company shut that t... read more

My mother purchased one of these atrocities late last year and the home has been a constant headache. The windows do not fit or close/open correctly. The walls resemble cardboard in that you can hear everything through them. The fence is made of a cheap, thin wood that you can see then neighbors through. And to top it all off, the AC stopped working last night and it is still not working. She's owned this home for less than a year and the AC stops working right as summer begins. Please avoid this homebuilder.

Fast forward a few years. Generally speaking, at the time of the build we were satisfied with our experience, but we are now dealing with quality issues we should not be seeing in a home that is six years old. The most significant is a water leak and mold in our primary bathroom shower. We noticed wet carpet on the wall opposite the shower and started to investigate. After determining the shower must be leaking we brought in a contractor to find, fix and replace the shower. After removing tile from one wall in the shower we ... read more

Working with Pacesetter hasn't been ideal. Gladly, they didn't build my home. But unfortunately, we've been dealing with them during the warranty period since the original builder sold their company to them. This company refuses to repair critical things that are safety concerns, are not responsive in general, and to replace a simple window screen they sent a vendor with no measurements and asked then to leave it on my doorstep for me to install a useless product. Cannot get worse than that. Now I'm dealing with the yearly i... read more
