Unfortunately I've been receiving multiple complaints from a relative of mine regarding this facility. Clients are only allowed one meal with no options for another type of meal or even ask for seconds. This leaves the person(s) hungry until the next meal. Whoever monitors this program needs to up their game because eventually the government will close it down. Pace is a wonderful organization for the elderly and the families of the elderly. They offer so many services including a day program, house cleaning and they even provide adult diapers free of charge for those who need them. They also can get a client in to respite, should the family need it. I would highly recommend PACE to any family of an elderly person in need of care, if they qualify. They would be in good hands !
Well they tell there clients what to do they make them lazy to we’re they can’t even make there own meals they tell them it’s ok to be lazy we will have a mad come in for you to clean cook and do your laundry when the person is a perfectly able to walk cook and do the own laundry
While they offer many services for the elderly they don't offer a alternative, choice or even ask (maybe because they think it's kind of morbid to ask the elderly/patient or family) at their admission process, during and after that I've know...about a life insurance policy for the same.
