Thanks for recommending alpaca socks, I took them on my 2,660 mile Journey along the Pacific Crest Trail. they keep my feet dry and no smell and warm on a side trip to Mount Whitney. lasted over a thousand miles. thanks again I'll buy another pair for my next hike.

I can't say enough great things about Paca Pride Guest Ranch. My partner and I went up for a couple of nights this week and had the best time. We stayed in the yurt, which is adorable and super cozy. David, Glenn, and Tim are great hosts, and have the yurt comfortably furnished. We lucked out, and it poured rain both nights we stayed which meant we slept like rocks listening to the rain hit the yurt roof. What an amazing weekend! David welcomed our family of two adults, two teens and a boxer, and made sure we had the best camping platform that would keep our dog farthest from the AAS (Alpaca Alert System). The next morning after the ranch tour, he spent additional time explaining even more of the inner workings of the farm. The burn ban was lifted and we enjoyed a campfire two evenings at the communal fire ring. They recommended a hike for the family and made sure we felt welcome. We definitely want to visit here again!
