Our Boy Scout Troop really enjoys this state park. Very nice semi-primitive group sites with immediate access to a great array of trails. This is one of our groups go to locations.
What an amazing place! So peaceful and picturesque! We have a new happy place.

What a beautiful park! The entrance is not terribly well marked, considering that there is construction on Rte 27 for MILES along there. The sites are level, the restrooms are very clean and well maintained. We saw bald eagles soaring in the evenings - they were flying low enough over the camping loops that we could see their white heads! We had an awesomely relaxing time and the park rangers and volunteers could not be friendlier or more helpful.
Beautiful. Hit up the trails and bring your bike.
