Lake Louisa is one of the more beautiful and peaceful state parks I've been to. They maintain a very nice butterfly garden at the park entrance with native wildflowers to attract pollinators. I was very impressed by the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the park, even in the campground area. We came in for a kayaking nature tour with P3 and Patrick Creveling of Eco-Active Tours, and will definitely be back again in the future. Thanks!
Great views at campsites and kayaking on the lakes is beautiful. Only downside is that the hiking trails near the cabins and campground have very limited shading which results in some really hot hikes in the summer!
Beautiful and quiet for anyone who loves to be outdoors!
Great State Park. Plenty to do. Bicycling, canoeing, kayaking and horseback riding. Even a small beach area to swim and picnic tables and play area.
