We ordered and waited, waited, and waited. Finally, we realized that our order was not being processed. Mistakes happen. Not an issue. What disturbing is that the staff immediately started blaming us, the client. This is not acceptable. After waiting for about 20min, we left without any coffee.
I enjoyed the kouign Amman, it’s like the muffin top part of a muffin. A thin pastry, the best crunchy buttery top of a traditional kouign Amman I’ve had elsewhere. I also liked the macarons, especially salted caramel and hazelnut.
Classy little coffee house. Excellent and friendly service. And of course the coffee is great! Best iced frappe-like iced coffee I have ever had. This is a nice place to hangout, take a moment and seize the day. Evenston is a cool place to visit.
