The menu here may leave you awe-inspired by the versatility and variety of combinations possible in the world of Thai/Chinese cooking. No wonder this is one of the most popular fine dining Asian restaurants in the city. Charcoal Beef Salad, Stuffed Pacific Longostino and "Love Me Tender Duck" (duck marinated in Thai spices and slow cooked with Thai herbs) are just three of the intriguing dishes to choose from.

Wrigleyville Thai spot offers friendly service plus dependable takeout and delivery. – In Short This casual storefront offers an extensive menu and friendly, efficient service. Much of the restaurant's business is delivery and takeout, but there is a spacious dining area for guests who prefer to stick around. Popular dishes include spicy egg rolls, garlicky steamed dumplings, and generously portioned pad Thai. Another favorite is the fiery Thai-style chicken cashew with nuts, baby corn, mushrooms, basil and hot peppers.
best thai in chicago! – P.S. bangkok never fails to please. No matter who I go there with, everyone always loves it. The service is friendly and helpful and the thai decor is warm, but most importantly, the food is consistently great. The dishes aren't necessarily prepared in the typical chicago-thai-restaurant style, and the variations are always better than the standard. It may not taste like the paad thai you can get at any other thai place, but it's better here. Also, they'll prepare any dish vegetarian if you ask.
Most imaginative Thai food I know of – PS Bangkok has the most imaginative and consistently good Thai food I've had in Chicago. The owner/chef takes great pride in the quality and authenticity of her dishes. The appetizers and curry dishes in particular are simply amazing, combining spicy, sweet, sometimes sour and aromatic tastes which work well together without being over-powering or run-of-the-mill . The Pad Thai is far from bland.. instead it is slightly spicy and very subtly sweet. Try the Panang curry, the steamed dump... read more
Authentic tasting Thai food YUM – I don't think the editorial review does this place justice. The decor is done in lovely Thai style, so who cares if the carpet is worn or the menu is tattered as long as the food is delicious and the service excellent in which case both are true. I've dined in several Thai restaurants and they are all starting to taste the same - Not PS Bangkok the food tastes like I imagine it would taste in Thailand. I think anyone with a more sophisticated palate would enjoy the dining here. The food is f... read more
