Went there for Father's Day today with my wife & son and was disappointed. As far as seating.. and the timeframe it took we didn't have an issue because we were offered to sit outside because of the crowd & accepted that. It was buffet style so we made our own plates but the things that where said was going to be out to try was not.. maybe they ran out but we didn't come no where near close to closing time so I don't get why it would be a shortage on food or for the food to be at not be at least refreshed and warm even. Unbelievable!!! Searching on google for places that served shrimp and grits because that’s what my husband had a taste for and McClellan’s popped up and Lord ham mercy we definitely don’t regret it. The atmosphere, the vibe, the food, the everything even music was great. And black owned, we was sold then. Of course my husband had the shrimp and grits and the taste, just remarkable. The chicken? Fried green tomatoes!!!!!
We went for the brunch buffet and ooooo the food was so delicious. The shrimp and grits were tasty. Chicken and waffles with the blueberry syrup were really good. Highly recommend!
