Best Salon in the Area! My experience with PJ & Company Salon was probably the most pleasant I have had since I began coloring my hair. I was a bit skeptical at first when I saw the 50% off coupon online for new clients. I decided it was worth a shot. VERY HAPPY CLIENT Last week I went to pj's after having an awful experience somewhere else. I had wanted red highlights throughout my hair and my previous stylist had left them dull and orange. I decided to try this salon because I work across the street. When I went in to make my appointment the receptionist had me book a consultation first with my stylist so we could get better acquainted and I could explain to her clearly what it was I expected. Pricey, But Very Nice "Review" The "Pricey, But Very Nice" review was written by a former employee who's employment was terminated (ergo, the "owner has no life" commentary). Guess she wasn't feeling the love after being fired. :-) We appreciate the otherwise positive commentary however.
Pricey, But Very Nice PJ & Company is one of Shelton's nicest salons. They offer a full range of hair services, nails, and tanning. They are slightly pricey (between $35-$50 for a haircut with a blowdry), but the atmosphere is worth it. They've tried to create a very serene experience for their clients (purple walls, a water fixture, hot tea). They also have an excellent location (just 5 minutes off Route 8 directly across from Starbucks and Madisons, in the same plaza as Simply Body and Curves). The girls who work there are... read more
Lacking experience Disappointed is an understatement. I went to get highlights the other day. After 3 hours of bleach, glaze, toners, and washing I was told it didnt work by the stylist. She dyed me back to my natural color and did not volunteer to stay late to fix it. She did not know what she was doing. When i got home i realized my shirt had dye all over it and she missed a spot of lighter hair in the back. Sure the salon looks cute but the stylists lack credibility and experience. I will never go back there again. They w... read more
highly recommend! PJ and Company is one of the nices and more comfortable salons in the area! Everyone in the salon makes u feel warm and welcome. They listen to what I wanted and was extremely Happy w my service! I would recommend highly!
