I have been eating here for about 15 years and I am never disappointed! I moved to north Florida several years ago, but I always stop in here when I am in town! Chet and Cindy run a great place! My peel and eat shrimp was a good appetizer while I waited on my dozen steamed medium oysters. Both were cooked just the way I like it. The place was packed, all 3 rooms, and the staff managed it well! Thank you Oyster Troff, and keep on shuckin, until I see you again!
Our experience was anything but good. The wait staff was very aloof...we excited for 1 hour for our food.... the fried oysters had more breading than oysters, the hush puppies were burnt and we were told "that's ways they come".. corn on the cob must have sat in water all day, very mushy, shrimp cocktail served in a soup dish ... overall very bad experience.... no apology ....won't be back!!!
