I'm at the OYO Hotel, 1 Ramada Drive, East Hanover, NJ. I was told they are evacuating the building. It is no longer a Hotel. All the guests are leaving. It is a shock. I'm disabled & it is hard for me to move. They told me I could stay till Monday morning, 12/13/21. I was planning on staying until after Christmas. I'm paid up until Tuesday, 12/14/21. Scary. No staff just security. At least there is still electricity, heat & hot water.

There was a $75 deposit fee (which was not listed in the booking) that was charged to my account (in case of room damages & smoking). The joined room next door had people smoking in there - when I called to complain they offered a downgraded room. They charged me extra for checking out later (without notifying me)! There is no microwave, coffee maker & hangers in the room. The TV has bad signal and limited channels. There is no room service of any kind. If I could give zero I would!! Stole my deposit and housekeeping walked in my room while we was sleeping !! Called and asked about my deposit to be told that it takes 10 day for it to release . Instead of releasing it it processed as a purchase !! NEVER AGAIN. Called and the front desk personnel is very rude and needs to be taught in customer service ! Will be calling corporate for a full refund !

This place was terrible. I found a roach on my bed the first night. The hotel was filthy, there was no maid service, the shower did not work properly and the main elevators were not working. There was no ice machine and my room was disgusting. Only slightly better than sleeping on the street. Never again.
