Love the Katsu chicken and teryaki chicken. Sushi is excellent high quality and freshly made.
Great service great food. I highly recommend the Oyama roll, especially if you are a beginner to Sushi, great place to start!
Cute place with good service. The food was just so so. The salad felt more like cereal, the lettuce was swimming in liquid, and not the ginger dressing, but water. The makis were rather one note and 3 different rolls all tasted pretty much the same despite different fish and other ingredients.
Went to Oyama today for first time with my husband and two of our adult children and everything was excellent. I have been to probably every sushi restaurant in central IL and this is my new favorite. I got the Sushi lunch special that is 5 pieces of chef choice Nigiri and a California roll. First thing I noticed was the Nigiri was not over loaded with rice which I LOVED because I really only want the rice so it soaks up the soy sauce and wasabi for extra flavor as I also love sashimi but obviously sashimi does not soak up s... read more
Firs time eating here and the food was delicious. Had the shrimp hibachi.
