I gave him $2100 cash on Sunday, ask for a receipt and he told me that he would send it to me that evening. I didn’t receive it and when I went to work on Monday morning, I found that I just lost my job. I’m a 66 year-old widow. And he stole from me. I already reported it to the police and I’m filing a complaint against him personally as well as with the department of financial services, which holds his license. This Broker Owais Khan received a $2100 dollar cash deposit from my sister on August 17 , 2025 for an apartment . My sister lost her job on Monday August 18 th and asked for her deposit back . Owais Khan denied receiving the money until my sister showed him a text that he acknowledged receiving the money and gave it to the landlord.
