The superiority complex in doctors n receptionists is too much for a sick person. They r not emphathatic at all. Came early for appiontment..waited 20 mins since time of appointment, no call. Went to reception..she just no randomly said "doc is gona be late fr atleast an hour..do u want refund ".like cant be bothered to tell person whn thy checked in so we dont waste our time. Never going back
I've been there twice and the receptionists were kind but the doctors are very average. The consultations are in a flash (about 5 min). The second time I had been there, the doctor just read the results of my exams to me (which I had done previously) and that was it. If I haven't ask for a medication, he would not say a thing. Also, in order to get a second opinion about another health issue I was having, he gave a total wrong diagnostic and recommendation. I will not come back there again.
This was my second consultation with Dr Allison Ward. During my first visit, she was almost an hour late, but I was understanding at the time as it seemed she was not feeling well. I spent around 45 minutes at the clinic, but the consultation itself lasted only about 10 minutes. As mentioned in other reviews, she seemed uninterested and showed no empathy towards the concerns I raised. There was minimal explan... read more
Refused to be treated. I have cancer in my nose. Dr Fadi Rassam charged a private fee to treat it with dry ice. He advised to keep coming back if it hadn’t gone at no cost. Which was fair and appreciated. On my third visit. BUPA had taken over the clinic. He refused to treat me advising I had to pay a private fee again. Since BUPA took over the clinic, the doctors standards have dropped. They don’t care and only want to pay their BUPA licensing fees. Sad demise…..
It's a mystery to me why the ratings for this clinic are so low. The receptionists are kind and welcoming, and they helped me navigate the complexity of private health insurance in Australia. I was attended by Doctor Edward Ryan, who understood my health concerns while making me feel at ease during the consultation. The fact that this PrEP and PEP-friendly clinic is on Darlinghurst of all places is just the cherry on top.
