This was my second consultation with Dr Allison Ward. During my first visit, she was almost an hour late, but I was understanding at the time as it seemed she was not feeling well. Unfortunately, my second experience was also disappointing. She was 30 minutes late and never appears to be punctual. I spent around 45 minutes at the clinic, but the consultation itself lasted only about 10 minutes. As mentioned in other reviews, she seemed uninterested and showed no empathy towards the concerns I raised. There was minimal explan... read more
Refused to be treated. I have cancer in my nose. Dr Fadi Rassam charged a private fee to treat it with dry ice. He advised to keep coming back if it hadn’t gone at no cost. Which was fair and appreciated. On my third visit. BUPA had taken over the clinic. He refused to treat me advising I had to pay a private fee again. Since BUPA took over the clinic, the doctors standards have dropped. They don’t care and only want to pay their BUPA licensing fees. Sad demise…..
It's a mystery to me why the ratings for this clinic are so low. The receptionists are kind and welcoming, and they helped me navigate the complexity of private health insurance in Australia. I was attended by Doctor Edward Ryan, who understood my health concerns while making me feel at ease during the consultation. The fact that this PrEP and PEP-friendly clinic is on Darlinghurst of all places is just the cherry on top.
I had bad experiences in this medical centre, not from the costumer service staff or the pathologist but specifically from doctor james Lam, who did not read my blood tests and turned that I had iron deficiency and need it some pills to fix it, also gave me drugs straight away for my insomnia instead of checking any other possible causes such as health problems, psychological and so on. For him just drugs are the cure?? Not really a good doctor who cares about his patients!
I had a deeply upsetting experience with GP. Alison Ward. Despite presenting with a persistent physical issue (facial asymmetry and jaw pressure following a massage), the doctor was dismissive and unhelpful. She spent a significant portion of the consultation googling my symptoms, only to tell me that because she 'couldn't see' the problem, it effectively didn't exist. She was so dismissive that I was left in tears, yet she showed no empathy. To make matters worse, despite being in her office for no more than 5 minutes, she ... read more
