Okay where to begin. I do not live in these apartments; I live across the field from them. I had an eleven-month-old Jack Russell Terrier named Jack. The management of these apartments has had some sort of vendetta against Jack for quite some time now. Most of my other surrounding neighbors are animal lovers and have pets of their own. Jack has been allowed to run free during the daytime for most of his life; so everyone in the neighborhood has gotten to know him. I would not recommend this apt complex to anyone! Not even someone that I dislike.
Aug 23, 2010 The property manager is overly aggressive. I have witnessed him right in different people's faces, screaming and yelling at them on more than one occasion. He has harassed my 16 year old niece for being at the pool without me, as a result she was banned from the pool. My brother lives just across the field next to the apartments and was over looking for his dog, the manager threatened him with trespassing. I am a frequent visitor to the Oxford Park Apartments, so take my review for whatever its worth. If you are parking your car at this complex, beware! Dent and dings seem frequent and I am always seeing glass in the parking lot! By now you would think that they would have fixed the deteriorating state of the east side lot, it really makes the place look more trashy and unmaintained. Also; clean up the excessive bird droppings on the stairwells, it has been a problem every year I have been there! Very unsanitary!! I've been to... read more
The manager is just protecting the property because many people come to the pools who are not tentants. As a result, problems arise. The rules are stated very clearly, IF YOU ARE A TENANT, that if you have guests at the pool, they must be accompanied by the tentant. Last year, I witnessed many people who came to the apartments just to swim. They played loud music, drank alcohol, litered our pool, and disrespected tentants. These apartments are "ok." I have not personally lived there, but have had several friends reside here & the apartments themselves are in decent shape. Just really busy. Lots of apartments, lots of people, however it is centrally located. I would just be nervous about the traffic & people. Im a worry wart though, about my car & everything so its definetly not in a "dangerous" neighborhood but also not in a "fancy, nice" neighborhood either
