I’ve been coming to Oxford nails since the summer and haven’t had an issue until today. I had a fill in done by Daisy and it did not meet my expectations. To start, she hovered over me when I was trying to pick a color, making me feel rushed (there was no other customers when I was there), and then I decided on a French. I’ve gone here twice in the last month and half hoping to find a salon I like that’s close by. Both times, they told me halfway through my appointment that there’s an up-charge for the color I chose. The first time, it was an extra $10. The second time, an extra $15. I understand that certain products or services cost a bit more, but that should be communicated BEFORE they start. Came here for a regular pedicure. The job was just “ok”. Basically no real foot message and the exfoliating could have been better. What got me was how the nail polish wasn’t really applied that well. I brought my own color and had to touch up various nails that the nail tech didn’t cover the area… wouldn’t recommend frankly unless are looking for a Sunday pedicure on a pinch in the area… maybe just worth waiting till Monday if one can throw it.
