I had ADHD and struggled understanding math my whole life. I had my own methods of learning but it wasn’t efficient. I went here for tutoring in grade 9 up until grade 12- graduated highschool in 2021. I was so bad at math and never thought I could make it…Im now 4 months away from becoming a nurse! Cant thank Oxford enough. Don’t be discouraged on your journey :)
Cant thank the staff enough at the Bluffs location. My daughter was struggling with sounding out words, spellings and math. Since the time we enrolled her, we have seen great improvement in her reading, spellings and her vocabulary has increased. She is now able to write simple sentences and started enjoying math as its making sense to her. We hope to enrol our son soon to get a head start before he starts JK in September. Highly recommend this location. Thank you Team Bluffs!
My son really struggled in math. Some concepts were really challenging and just not clicking. I tried many tutors from university students to even a math professor but to no avail. We signed up for Oxford during grade 7 as it was evident and alarming that his math was suffering. The staff have been very patient and kind, kept in touch with me on his progress, consulted with his grade 8 teacher on concepts needing attention and made adjustments where necessary. My daughter’s 4th grade teacher told me she needed help in math. So we decided to get her help but she didn’t want help. She felt she was really good at math and the teacher was mistaken lol But am the parent, so I signed her up for the Oxford learning program. First day she wasn’t happy to go but when I picked her up she was happy and excited to learn math! :) She loves the teachers at the center and the whole learning environment there.
