I’ve been very impressed/happy with the Oxford clinic so far. Ive been going to them consistently for about 3 months. Their reception team is very punctual and easy to contact quickly during staffed hours. Already a massive improvement on other clinics. In terms of specialists, I’ve been helped greatly so far by Dr McFadden. I’ve particularly found her attention to details and putting pieces of the puzzle together an extra mile that helps greatly. Just a quick note and review off the top of my head. Thanks guys.
I have been seeing Dr McFadden for several years, and I have always felt she has taken the best approach to my care for my diagnosis with adhd. She is kind and considerate, and listens to me regarding medication and treatment. After about 15 months and 8 appointments with Dr Benson, the care has been consistently outstanding. She’s made a real difference with ADHD management, and the reception team is always accommodating and friendly. Every visit has been a great experience, and the Oxford Clinic comes highly recommended.
Unfortunately a very disappointing experience and a waste of money. I would not recommend and I wish I saw other views before booking. I saw Dr Ponni Palaniappan.
I agree with Benjamin Fisher's review: I can't speak for all the psychiatrists there, but I feel the one I saw lacked empathy. I wouldn't recommend this practice if you have more complex, serious conditions that result in your not being able to function or work: you won't find much help. Sure, you'll be put on a number of drugs, but even if they don't work and are giving you negative side-effects, don't bother complaining: you'll likely be told to, "Up the dose and see what happens".
