I am very disappointed. I have been trying to get a prescription since Friday last. Have called multiple times it is now Monday evening.
I had been dealing with extreme stomach pain for a while as a disabled veteran. I have had horrible expiriences with the Saginaw VA though in the past. Like many veterans I don’t trust the VA. I filled out tons of paperwork about my past medical conditions. I met with the nurse practioner Zach. He didn’t ask me any questions, do any type of screening whatsoever or even glance at the 20 pages of paperwork I did. I would have rated this place or at least Dr. Tabbaa a minus 100 but didn't have that option. Dr. Tabbaa did a colonoscopy on me Dec. 12th 2024. When I was woken up after the procedure I had severe pain in my stomach and told the nurses, they dismissed it and sent me home. My husband took me over to the emergency at the hospital. They found Dr. Tabbaa had severely goughed my intestine causing bleeding. I was transported to Hurley Hospital for surgery. Zach the NP and Morgan the MA was amazing! He answered all the questions that I could think about in the office. He treated me as of if I was family member, and his bedside manner was amazing!
