RecommendedGreat place, lots to explore. Great food
It was so much nicer when you had the more lodge look. Now it's to urban and you are almost afraid to put your feet up. The only good thing was the bar outside the Owls nest

Had a great time, staff was very helpful, the sun set wa beautiful.
The Owls Nest used to a great place with a rustic lodge like setting..... That was until the resort turned some hair brained fu fu decorator loose on it and now it's just a cheesy looking place called the "Crooked River" (?) or something. Gone is the warm quaint lodge ambiance and it it's place is the distinct cold look of lunch counter in a 5 & dime somewhere. Bye bye Owls Nest, we miss you.
We make it a point to have a family dinner there each thanksgiving! We love it!
Too contemporary. Bring back the old menu and allow kids to eat in the non- bar area.
