Had the Cobia, blackened, and the wife had the Snapper, pan seared...both were great. We sat at the bar and had great service. First time here, will be back for sure.

Bought the $30.00 snapper tonight, it was the smallest piece of fish I've ever had there ever! You have lost a loyal customer... I got F$$ked tonight

Business response:

I'm sorry that happened, the kitchen staff weighs each filet out to 8oz. If one got past me I'd like to fix the problem. There will be a gift card mailed to you. Please send your address to owensfishcamp@verizon.net Thanks

Excellent in every way. Great ambiance, wonderful service, and delicious food. I have celiac disease and was able to choose from many gluten free options.

A must stop in Sarasota. Stone Crabs, scallops, red snapper, triple tail fish, shrimp over grilled Romaine, pulled pork and King Crab legs! We tried them all and they exceeded our expectations in every case. Staff was upbeat and helpful, atmosphere was extremely enjoyable! Highly recommend!

Business response:

Thank you , Kevin. Happy you enjoyed the Fish Camp

Great grouper. Chicken fried lobster appetizer a real treat. Band had a young guy with a fantastic voice. Come early for no wait but, then, you miss the band in the backyard "waiting" area.

Food is amazing!!! Definitely worth the wait. They have a cute "backyard" to hang out in while you are waiting. They serve cold beer and some small appetizers back there. Complete with a tire swing. It is a bit hard to find; never would have found it on our own. I got blackened grouper with lemon butter sauce. Mmmm....

My wife and I went to Owens Fish Camp for the first time Thursday night. I had a dozen raw oysters and Red Napper while my wife had the chicken lobster and Grouper. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. Casual atmosphere and very helpful and friendly bartender. I recommend anyone in the Sarasota area to give Owens Fish Camp a visit for great seafood.
