Owen Cyclery got its start back in 1973 when Tom Owen decided to open a shop where he could share his passion for cycling and bike safety education with the Chattanooga community. Then in 2002, longtime employee Erik Hunt took leadership and helped the shop grow into the cyclist destination it is today. Now we're known for two things: our selection of the best bike and gear brands and our positive, attentive customer service. Come on in and see the difference that our local, family-owned shop offers.

I was visiting from out of town when I had a mechanical issue on a training ride. The guys at Owen Cyclery dropped what they were doing to get my Parlee back in working condition all in time for my race this coming up weekend. Ride on y’all 🤙🏽🤘🏽

Bought the low end mountain bike. My first one at 65 years old. They treaded me as if I was buying one that costs thousands. I call or stop by and ask a lot of questions. They are always willing to answer. They have been great too when I bought some accessories. They are 5 star to me.

Just wanted to give a huge shout out and thank you to Erik for the outstanding customer service he provided me. There was an accidental issue with a bike that they helped me pack for shipping, and Erik made it right 100% with no excuses or run around. I couldn’t ask for more as it unfortunately caused them a financial loss in the process and I’m sure it was frustrating for them to swallow. who would have thought I would own a road bike, better still who would have thought I enjoy climbing mountain roads but here I am a year later and can't get enough. I went back n forth on purchasing a bike to finally just walking in to the shop. I was treated great with professionalism all the way thru. I have returned many times to make purchases and have my bike serviced still always great satisfaction with the end result. I walked in today with my daughter's broken bike. I stood there for 5 minutes while 5 employees pretended they were too busy. "Be right there" or "hold on a minute" would have sufficed, but I never got acknowledged.
These guys are amazing at customer service... helped me through every tiny detail that I needed in order to be well taken care of. HIGHLY recommend this place!
