Enjoyed lunch with our cousins, our first visit and will be back for dinner. Lovely atmosphere with old world charm. Exquisite Christmas decorations!! Exceptional food and presentation.
After not going from reading reviews we got up one night and went! Loved the food and the service !They only need to serve warm bread thats it!
If you are looking for great authentic Italian food.. look no further! I've always been impressed with the mouth watering dishes served up! This is by far the best kept secret in town. Love the Romantic Ambiance, with it's old world charm..I've enjoyed plenty of parties and events here, they are Fantastic hosts and take pride in your families/friends dining experience. Quite overpriced – I've always wanted to go to Ovidio's and finally went on New Year's Eve 2008. The restaurant has an old-world Italian restaurant look and usually has quite a few cars in the parking lot. I decided to try Ovidio's because I had an Entertainment coupon which was not honored (due to holiday season). We were seated quickly and the waitress was friendly. Okay pasta When hubby and I went here we liked the food okay, but not a place we would want to go back too. I beleive there are many other Italian places in Fresno that have better food. The staff was okay and the place seemed very clean.
Good food, good portions Ovidio's is one of the better Italian restaurants in town. Service is friendly and the price is right. The portions are very big, so careful how much you order!
Very tasty My second favorite italian restaurant, with delicious food, friendly staff and good prices. Took my family last week and they all ate like it was the last one. Very tasty!
awful service!!! – The first time I went to this restaurant the bar tender was waiting tables. He was very nice and the experience was a pleasant one. The next time I went we were served by the "real" waitress. She was unbelievably slow and rude as well. We asked that she split our check ( there were two of us ) and she was very irritated. She then had the nerve to add a tip to both checks!!!!! When I complained she told me her regulars preferred that she just tip herself so they wouldn't have to be bothered!!! AVOID-Over rated – We had a group of six the service was bad, the food was very low in quality. The prices are high for such bad food. I will never return there. They need a new chef and new service.
