2004 VW Jetta TDI The service representative, was great to work with. I expressed previous bad history with Overturf and that would be an uphill effort on Overturf's part to regain my confidence. My 2004 TDI had multiple problems that were resolved (difficult starting and top speed of 70 mph); after replacing the turbo (which I asked to have saved for my inspection and proof of failure) the engine still operated at 85% power. Well known stinkers of long standing I grew up here and should have known better (we first learned how bad they were back in '68 when my grandmother bought a bug from them), but when we moved back to town after college, my old VW mechanic had retired, so we took our car to Overturf. Having just spent the last of our savings on first/last month's rent, etc. we had only enough money for the most critical repairs, and I told the service manager that we'd be back in 10 days after my first paycheck to get the rest done. Unsatisfied VW owner My husband and I walked into Volkswagen Overturf in January 2008 excited and ready to buy the new Clean Diesel TDI. (We had just sold our fifteen passenger van because our seven teenagers were all driving). After finding out the TDI was not yet available from the salesman, we had to make a decision.
