Overture Cary is a lively 55+ community. It is well maintained, I currently enjoy living here. The maintenance staff is timely and professional. The only reason I give this community a three star is because the management team is not very senior friendly or focused. The team probably has experience in property management but lacks experience working with seniors. This is my first experience living in an apartment. I have found the community of residents to be caring and supportive. Truly a gift. I find that my idea or definition of active must be out of line. While there are activities scheduled daily, it wasn't really what I thought it would be. I was hoping for a more physically active community. A community that offers exploration opportunities or active trips for , oh perhaps, kayaking, canoeing, trails or something that would be off-site and more physically demanding.
