Their customer service representatives need better training. I could have resolved my issue in 10 minutes instead of one hour. My kid opened a bank account while away at college and overdrew the account; he accrued fees which were turned over to this collection agency. This law firm continuously filed foreclosure paperwork in court with my address for another person. It wasn’t until my tenant told me the house was in the paper as foreclosed that I learned about the error. For almost a year, Since June 18’ they filed 30 court documents foreclosing on the wrong address. My house was set for auction in two weeks!! The auction has been stopped since I learned of this. Awful experience! The woman I spoke to was extremely rude & acted like I was bothering her by trying to make a payment on our account. I asked her why she was being rude & she said I should call back to someone else & hung up on me. Not the kind of customer service you want!! Why my husband’s medical bill is in collections after we’ve been paying each month, is beyond me, but it doesn’t have to be such a negative experience.
Great organization - NOT! Apparently I was notified in August 2016 that I had an account in collections from Ellis medicine because the Doctor's office had not classified my annual mammogram / ultrasound as preventive care. Got on the phone with Ellis and resolved the issue. 1 1/2 years later I get an alert from Experian that my credit score had changed because of this organization. insisting that i pay for bills that have already been paid by my insurance, and drastically exaggerating how much i owe. my bill for a routine doctors visit is $50 for me, not $3500 as theyre trying to charge me. after looking up all their complaints im glad i never made a payment with them, as they have a habit of taking money from people and their original bill remains unpaid.
very sick people to harass an 86 yr old with dementia for money he does not have.You guys deserve to be sued for harassment.
