Reviewed Overmans 2 years ago when purchasing my engagement ring. Not good service or quality. They proceeded to write me nasty emails and phone me telling me I do not know how to wear my ring. 30 DAY warranty was up when I first went in and now I see they have posted a 2year old update to my comments. They were nasty to deal with as soon as they saw I had a complaint, made in person quite a few times before posting a review online. Guess they haven’t changed.
RecommendedAwesome service and always with a smile! Family owned and great people. They do beautiful jewelry. They also appraise and buy stones and precious metals.

I have a friend who purchased a Beautiful wedding set from Overmans design. It didn’t hold up for even 6 months and they unfortunately do not stand by their designs. They accused her of using either chemicals or being “too rough “. What happened to “the customer is always right?” To save face I would have thought they would have made it right for her. My expensive and beautiful engagement ring does not hold up to the quality and workmanship these other reviews talk about. White gold discolored ( not enough rhodium used) and then a stone fell out, prong ( only 3 holding corner stones). This is after having the ring about 6 months. Ring was repaired and stone fell out two weeks later. Everyone at Overman’s was on cue to tell me I am too rough on my jewelry and can’t wear it all the time; need more realistic expectations. I personally have not done business with Overman Designs, but I do have a friend who purchased his wives wedding rings there. One of the prongs lifted causing one of the diamonds to fall out, luckily she found it and took the ring back to have it repaired. She was told that the warranty was only for a month, and that they would have to charge her to repair the ring, after some dialog Overmans finally agreed to wave the charges and they reset the diamond. Chad had an Amethysts stone I fell in love with, I asked what could be done to make a necklace with it. Carol and I had a serious discussions with Chad and Melisa which included everything just short of shadow puppets and they understood what we were looking for. We were supplied CAD drawings as the project progressed. Last Friday we saw the finished product, it was nothing short of breathtaking, many thanks to Chad and Melisa for taking the time to create something so beautiful.
