Originally built in 1929, Overlook Hall was designed in the manner of an Italian chapel and served for many years as the community's Christian Science church. Eventually closed, the building underwent a complete restoration in 2010. The upstairs sanctuary includes almost 1,200′ of open space with heavy beamed ceilings, original Douglas fir flooring, spacious windows, a raised stage with aft restroom, wall heaters, and a sweeping outside deck facing the Pacific. We recently worked with Sarah to host my sister in law's wedding at Overlook Hall! The wedding happened to fall during not only a cold spell in Catalina, but they were experiencing a rainy season. Just got back from my honeymoon and taking a moment to relive the most amazing day on Catalina. I have to say, I could not have been more impressed with this venue! The manager Anna was such a delight to work with, so helpful and responsive always. She truly went above and beyond to make sure every wedding detail was perfect. My wedding at Overlook Hall this past summer was absolutely perfect! The venue and location is gorgeous! We had both our wedding and reception at the hall. The venue has gorgeous wood floors, beautiful opening windows, wood beam stunning ceiling, and the patio offers beautiful views of the ocean. Anna Dira was wonderful!
