It's a great garden with woods and water features as well. Has a train area for kids. Great place for all ages.
Hidden Gem in Kansas City area. It started as a smaller garden, but with donations the Botanical Gardens added several very nice themed gardens. (Monet, Trains) It is very nice for kids too, because in the summer they run a substantial number of model trains outdoors at eye level for kids. There are also very accessible sidewalk paths and benches everywhere so, no matter what age you are, it is very friendly.
