I used the St. Charles location for consultation and comprehensive eye exam. Excellent! The service and personal care were impressive. My prescription is complicated and I received my new glasses in 48 hours. Very fine experience, thank you. Bill Molenhof
Horrible service, they care more about upselling then they care about helping their customers. Go somewhere else.
A week after paid nearly $400 for one pair of glasses (even though a two for one promotion was running) I went into this office to complain that the vision in the right lense was blurry. I was told that no one was around to address the problem and that somebody would call me. That was 5 days ago and I am still waiting for a callback. I'd recommend aproaching this place with total caution.
Great service! – My 13 year old son wanted contacts. I took him to Overland Optical Family Eye Care. They did a very thorough exam - I was so impressed with how well they handled my teenager. The doctor reassured me that my son was ready for contacts and a back-up pair of glasses. Then it was time for my son to learn how to put in and take out his contacts. I recently returned to Overland Optical for an eye exam, and new glasses. I was very pleased with the exam process, and the extra time and care the eye doctor spent to also answer questions I had specific to my vision, and medications I use. When looking for frames, the opticians helped me choose a new, quality frame that looks great on me, and I was told about a new kind of digitally-ground lens, which makes the prescription wrap further into the peripheral vision area, without as much added thickness to my lenses as in nor... read more
I’ve been going to Overland Optical Family Eye Care since it first opened in Overland. They are always friendly and each optician seems personally concerned that my glasses are just right - the right style, the right color, the right size, the right fit - for me. Overland Optical could use some improvement – I have to say the staff was very friendly, helpful and conversational; however Dr. Rose forgot to give me a brochure that he promised to give me and even tho I paid for a glasses exam, he never gave me my script. I can only assume they are hoping I will purchase my glasses at their store and I would if their selection was greater.
