First time patient. Provider(nurse) asked almost zero questions as to why I was being anticoagulated … been on warfarin for almost 30 years, seems like a reasonable question. Told her the reason I was in was my monitor at home wasn’t working and all I needed was an INR. Seems like she could not understand that either. She did ask if I was still working just not what kind of work I did. Might have helped since as a board certified family physician I’m not an idiot. Felt treated like one though.
